Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church is excited to share our new ministry with you. Psalm 46 Disaster Relief Ministry's purpose is to show the love and hope found in Jesus Christ with others by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support in the midst of their trials. We want them to see that God is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, as Psalm 46 tells us.

This ministry was formed after our church was blessed with the opportunity to serve in North Carolina following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Because of the outpouring of support from our church family, community, and sister churches, the blessings and opportunities have continued over the past few months. Through generous donations, God has allowed us to provide supplies and assist with supply distribution in North Carolina, deliver 3 fully stocked campers to families affected in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Kentucky, serve in Cave City, and feed our local community after recent storms. Most importantly, we've had the humbling privilege of sharing God's hope and His amazing grace with many people who were suffering.

After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to build a mobile laundry trailer that will be used as a ministry tool in areas affected by disaster. As funds become available, we will later purchase a truck that will be used to transport the trailer to areas where a need exists.

If you would like to learn more about this new ministry, or how our church can help support it financially, we are more than happy to provide additional information either by phone, or by presenting it to your congregation in person.

We know that the enemy would love nothing more than to try to tear down what the Lord has planned to build up. Because of this, we would cherish your commitment to pray for us as we strive to reach lost souls by serving those in need through this ministry.
